Vehicle Rental Agreement – Apni Ride
This Vehicle Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms under which Apni Ride provides its rental vehicles to customers (“Renter”). By completing a booking or accepting the vehicle, the Renter confirms their understanding and acceptance of the terms stated in this Agreement.
1. Customer Information
The Renter must provide the following:
Full Name
Valid Driving License
Government ID Proof
Contact Number
Address
Emergency Contact (if required)
All documents must be original and valid. Fake or invalid documents will lead to immediate cancellation without refund.
2. Vehicle Details
At the time of rental, the following details will be recorded:
Vehicle Type & Model
Registration Number
Fuel Level
Vehicle Condition & Existing Damages
Accessories provided (Helmet, Key, Lock, etc.)
The customer must verify the details before starting the ride.
3. Rental Duration
Rental period begins at the time mentioned in the booking confirmation or handover receipt.
Late returns will incur additional charges as per hourly or daily rates.
Early returns will not qualify for refunds.
4. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit (if applicable) must be paid before pickup.
The deposit will be refunded after vehicle inspection at return.
Deductions may apply for damage, fines, fuel shortage, missing accessories, or violations.
5. Vehicle Usage Rules
The Renter agrees to:
Use the vehicle responsibly and follow all traffic rules.
Not lend or sub-rent the vehicle to another person.
Not engage in racing, stunts, rash driving, or illegal activities.
Not drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Keep the vehicle locked and park safely.
Immediately report any accident or damage to Apni Ride.
6. Damage, Accident & Liability
The Renter is fully responsible for any damage caused during the rental period.
In case of an accident, Renter must inform us immediately and cooperate with authorities.
Repair cost, downtime loss, towing, or penalty will be charged according to company policy.
Loss of key, helmet, or accessories will incur additional charges.
7. Fuel Policy
The vehicle will be provided with a specific fuel level.
The Renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level.
Shortages will be billed at the current fuel rate plus service charges.
. Breakdown & Replacement
If the vehicle breaks down due to technical issues, Apni Ride will assist with repair or replacement (subject to availability).
If the breakdown occurs due to customer negligence or misuse, all costs will be charged to the customer.
9. Violations & Penalties
The Renter is responsible for:
Traffic challans or fines during the rental period
Parking violations
Unauthorized interstate travel
Use of the vehicle for commercial or illegal purposes
Any violation may result in penalties or legal action.
10. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations and refunds will follow the official Refund & Cancellation Policy of Apni Ride.
11. Termination of Agreement
Apni Ride reserves the right to terminate the agreement immediately if:
Documents provided are fake
Customer is found driving dangerously
Vehicle is misused
Illegal activities are detected
Safety concerns arise
In such cases, no refund will be provided.
12. Indemnity Clause
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Apni Ride, its employees, and partners from:
Damages caused during use
Legal claims
Third-party losses
Accidents resulting from negligence or misuse
13. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes will be handled under local jurisdiction where the rental booking was made.
